Today's/8th instt feature, in yr respective IBs will be an ideal aural opportunity for assessing Lata Mangeshkar's vocal prowess displayed in LAHORE ('49) & PADMINI ('48) under MDs : Shyamsunder & Gulam Haider resptly with reference to the one by M.K. Thyagaraja Bhagwathar (MKT) un der MD : Papanasam Sivan from the Tamil film: Ashok Kumar ('40). 

The focus is only on the 3 harkats in an attempt to study the respective colors of  'harkat' contours displayed and 'timed- sharpness' .
