Not many know that actress Nutan had a lovely singing voice also.
She sang one song in her debut movie Hamari Beti(1950) with music by Snehal Bhatkar and lyrics by Kidar Sharma:- 1. Tujhe kaisa dulha bhaaye ri baanki dulhaniya (No longer missing thanks to Girdharilal Vishwakarma ji) During her career she sang 6 songs for herself in the movie Chhabili(1960).
1. Aye Mere Hamsafar 2. Lehron Pe Lehar (with Hemant Kumar) 3. Yaaron Kisi Se Na Kehna (with Geeta Dutt) 4. Mila Le Haath Ki Ban Gayi Baat (with Sudha Malhotra) 5. O My Darling O My Sweety Tujhpe Fida Haaye Mera Dil (with Mahendra Kapoor) (Missing) 6. Hey Babu Hey Babu Babu Dil Pe Zara Rakhna Kaabu She had learnt music from the composer Snehal Bhatkar himself. The lyrics of all these songs were by Ratan Sharma (mentioned as S Ratan on the records). According to information received from Bobby Mudgel, In early 80s she sang again in a film called mayuri--total 4 songs - including one duet with amit kumar. Song details are as follows and all are missing:- 1. Ye Kaisi Khamoshi 2. Tum Tum Na Rahe (with Amit Kumar) 3. Mera Jeevan 4. Mera Dil Jawaan Here is the EP cover of Mayuri provided by him:-
