Gajendra ji,
The song 'Dilli se aya bhai ' is NOT sung by Honey. She has only lip syched it on screen.
The song is sung by VINATA AMLADI.
Please refer to Listeners' Bulletin No 134,dated July 2007,which is publisshed by Harmandir singh ji Hamraz.
In this issue there is an interview of singer BINOTA CHAKRAVARTY( who was Vinata Raghavendra Amladi before marriage and relocation to Calcutta). She has clearly said that'after hearing my song,Vinodji first gave ame a chance in the Chorus of 'Lara Lappa' and then he said,'now I have only one song left.I give it to you.'The song was Dilli se aaya bhai Tingu.
I sang it and it became very popular'
Honey O'Brien was only a dancer, not a singer. She has no record of any other song.On the other hand Binota chakravarty-as Vinata and as Binota has several songs to her credit.
I request you to make corrections in the above details accordingly.
