Not many know that Roshan worked as assistant MD to Khwaja Khurshid Anwar for his movie Shringaar(1950).
Anwar's movie Nishana(1950) had a lovely Geeta Roy song written by Nakshab, Woh Rooth Gaye Dil Toot Gaya which you can listen here:-
Roshan used this tune for, dil tujhe diya tha rakhne ko, Mukesh in Malhar (1951)
