Aurat is a 1940 Hindi film directed by Mehboob Khan starring Sardar Akhtar, Surendra, Kanhaiyalal and Arun (father of actor Govinda). The film's music is by Anil Biswas. Mehboob Khan later remade this film as Mother India (1957),which is considered as one of the biggest hit of all time in Indian Cinema.
