Here is one of my favourite soundtrack of anil biswas-1946 classic milan.
The film was directed by nitin bose and was a bombay talkies production.
The lyrics were written by arzoo lucknavi and pyarelal santoshi.the film starred dilip kumar,pahadi sanyal,mira mishra and ranjana and was based on a tagore story.

A very sweet Meena Kapoor song for Akaash(1953). The song is Mere Dil Ke Geet Chhup The.
A comment on the youtube post says, "A voice as pure and sparkling as a fresh-water mountain brook. Married to composer Anil Biswas, I imagine Meena Kapoor and he having a good time at home in the evenings-- she singing and he accompanying her on the piano, his fav instrument". What a lovely thought!
Such a picture would be so lovely to have, isn't it?
Sooni thi dil ki mehfil, har sheh mein kuchh kami thi, tum aaye to zara sa ek naaz ban ke aaye,... mere dil ke geet chup the, tum saaz ban ke aaye .... beautiful work by all. lyricist is of course Prem Dhawan ji.

Pandit Narendra Sharma ji gave many thoughtful lyrics with Anilda. Here is one from Hamari Baat(1943), Insaan Kya Jo Thokren Naseeb Ki Kha Na Sake. Interestingly, it is a duet of Anilda with his sister Parul Ghosh. Enjoy. :)
